Florida Gay Campgrounds
Sawmill is America’s FIRST Gay Community and America’s first Gay Co-Op. Definitely one of the more popular gay campgrounds in Florida, Sawmill is a private membership, gay and lesbian campground/RV resort located in Dade City, one hour from Tampa and Orlando. Camp along the winding Withlacoochee River with towering old cypress trees and enjoy nature in a peaceful setting. Sawmill offers over 120 acres of nature trails, RV sites with full hook up, tent sites and a large variety of cabins.
Other amenties include a clothing optional heated pool, and Lucy's General Store.
Splash Poolside Bar & Grille offers food & cocktails (eat-in & take-out) and is a free WI~FI Zone. Woody's Bar in the Courtyard offers dancing and has activities seven days a week. Woody's also has an adjacent 24 hour game/pool room. The Outpost & Tannery & Paragon Leather Store is open on weekends.
Up and coming all male gay resort, centrally located south of Lake Okeechobee. Vitambi (Vee-tom'-bee) is a tribal african word meaning "pride". This beautiful resort is situated on
269 acres of century-old oak trees, tropical palms and majestic pines that shelter four-themed campgrounds, rental homes, an inn, secluded cabins and bungalows. Tent and dry RV camping is also
available, plans are in the works for serviced RV sites. Other amenities include themed weekends, an in-ground pool, the Bolo Cafe and Bongo Bar.
Resort on Carefree Boulevard
Lesbian RV camping resort on fifty tropical acres. Featuring 278 home and RV lots, with many overlooking tropical freshwater lakes and preserves. All sites are especially designed to accommodate manufactured homes or recreational vehicles in a natural setting.
Club house, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, activities. Women only.
"Relax. You're on Mars" is this gay campgrounds motto. This is indeed a relaxing and beautiful spot, situated on 40 acres and canopied by large oak trees.
Membership only, 21+. Tenting and full RV hook-up sites available, 30/50 amp electric, newly remodeled restrooms with showers, Yurts with shared restrooms and cabins with private restrooms.
Nice, large recreation hall with kitchen. Pool, lush tropical forest, and nature trails. Camp Mars is below the frost line, and is less than two hours from most Florida cities and attractions.
Caters to men, but women are always welcome.
Camp David
Camp David is a private membership, RV and Tent Retreat. The entire 16 acre campground is clothing optional which provides a natural environment for men to enjoy. The property is heavily wooded with three small lakes.
21 RV sites with full hookups, sites with electric and water and tent sites, restrooms with showers, laundry and camping cabins. Hot tub, waterfall, fountain and wading pools, recreation hall with kitchen, basketball court, nature trails. Caters mainly to mature men. Southern Comfort Campground is one of the newest gay campgrounds in Florida, located across from Nature Coast State Trail in Cross City, Florida. Amenities include fully serviced, easy pull-thru RV sites (all RV sites include electric, water, sewer and cable TV) tent sites,
a fitness centre, laundry facilities, and an entertainment pavillion. Dump station on site. Daily, weekly and monthly rates available. Southern Comfort Campground is also pet friendly.
